Technology

Additive Manufacturing – Smart Production


Selective Laser Sintering is our cardinal additive technology, we have 10 dedicated machines. Thanks to SLS, indeed, it is possible to obtain high-performance prototypes, with functional characteristics similar to the final material for assembly checking, for size amd shape tests. At the end of the process, Laser Sintering allows you to apply the desired finish. Prosilas has different materials with which to make your product: Polyamide, Glass filled Polyamide, Alumide, Carbonmide, TPU, Polyamide Flame Retardant.
The following materials are also available for biomedical projects: Policaprolactone and Hydroxyapatite.

Stereolithography ensures a high dimensional accuracy and excellent aesthetic finishes, high quality, resolution and smooth surface. Using this additive technology, it is possible to create complex and highly transparent forms.

 The materials worked by Prosilas are: Simil ABS or transparent resin; Materials loaded with nano ceramics that have the characteristic of having a high thermal resistance (up to temperatures between 200 and 230 degrees); Materials developed for the production of finished objects which simulate a natural stone (digital stone); Cast materials designed for the open wax casting technique.

With this technology we can make a careful dimensional control on products that we print on the basis of the mathematics sent by the Customers, providing certified reports or for companies that have produced the part with traditional technologies and need a dimensional control between the part made and that of the file CAD, but also to rebuild CAD mathematics on objects that have gone out of production or whose equipment has been lost.
